Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cyrus Warner!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire misses with a double jab.
McGuire throws a hook but Warner blocks it.

Warner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McGuire avoids it really well and circles away.

McGuire drops Warner with a beautiful combination! Warner stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McGuire is looking for the KO!

That has opened up Cyrus Warner's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A telegraphed right hand from McGuire misses the target.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Warner.
Warner tries to close the distance and clinch but McGuire swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Warner avoids the body shot from McGuire.
McGuire misses the jab.
Warner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Warner darts in looking for a takedown but McGuire gets double underhooks and turns Warner into the cage.
Abel McGuire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cyrus Warner.
McGuire drops Warner with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Warner looks back up at him and smiles so McGuire waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Warner is still on wobbly legs! Can McGuire finish him?
The cut above Cyrus Warner's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Warner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McGuire.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Warner gets tackled into the cage by McGuire. McGuire maintains the clinch.
McGuire lands a nice knee to the body.
Warner seems to have recovered his senses.
McGuire definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Cyrus Warner's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
McGuire jerks Warner's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Warner drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! McGuire goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from McGuire because Warner was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Abel McGuire!
