Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alijah Roman (ranked 4202 p4p, 4268 weight class) and Ilya Bocharov (ranked 393 p4p, 399 weight class). Bocharov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Viking - Slaughter to Prevail. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alijah Roman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ilya Bocharov! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bocharov. Bocharov circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bocharov fails with the takedown and Roman counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bocharov thinking. Bocharov with a lazy takedown attempt and Roman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bocharov shoots in for a takedown but Roman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Alijah Roman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ilya Bocharov. Bocharov has his takedown stuffed and Roman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bocharov with a poor takedown and Roman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
 It looks like Ilya Bocharov has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bocharov takes one on the button. Roman misses with a few strikes there.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Bocharov dives in for a single leg takedown but Roman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Roman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Roman punishes Bocharov's body with a nice straight punch. Bocharov with a poor takedown and Roman counters with a straight right hand.
Bocharov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Roman wants to get back to his feet but Bocharov passes into half guard.
Roman is looking to escape. Bocharov tries to pass to full mount but Roman defends it. Bocharov is trying to control the action in half guard but Roman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bocharov has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Roman defend it? Bocharov steps over the head and cranks it - Roman is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bocharov!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ilya Bocharov!
