And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 6 losses; Ashton Short!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Dobbie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Short's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Short looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Short is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dobbie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Short.

Dobbie has his foot on Short's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Short works his way back into a safe position though.

Dobbie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Short can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dobbie has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Short is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dobbie.
