This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 4 losses; Gabe Utsecks! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 9 losses; Diminutive Jackson! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Utsecks fails with a takedown attempt. And Jackson tries to counter it with a takedown but Utsecks pushes his down on his head and steps out. Utsecks shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Utsecks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Utsecks shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Utsecks's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jackson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabe Utsecks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Utsecks shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well. Jackson feints the counter takedown.

Utsecks is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jackson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Utsecks trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Jackson doesn't escape. Jackson is keeping busy.
Utsecks is really struggling to control Jackson but he's trying to hold on to the position. Jackson tries to roll but Utsecks sticks to his back.
