Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Bourdeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joysula Ashton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bourdeau comes to the cage accompanied by Fall out boy- From now on we are enemies. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashton misses with a body shot.

Bourdeau with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ashton to score with a decent uppercut.
Bourdeau closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bourdeau lands in his opponent's guard.
Ashton is looking for a triangle but Bourdeau pushes his legs off easily.
Ashton pulls Bourdeau in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ashton is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Ashton seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ashton connects with a nice short shot to Bourdeau's temple.

Ashton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bourdeau flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Bourdeau knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ashton on the ground.

Joysula Ashton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Joysula Ashton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ashton loads up on a big right hand but Bourdeau slips the punch.
Bourdeau seems to have got his legs back now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ashton keeps the fight on the outside.
Bourdeau shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ashton defends it nicely.
Ashton throws an overhand right that lands on Bourdeau's shoulder, as Bourdeau tries to avoid the shot.

Ashton lands with a right that hurts Bourdeau. Bourdeau looks to clinch but Ashton throws a short knee that drops Bourdeau. This one is all over!
