Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Rebar (ranked 4360 p4p, 3408 weight class) and Pablo Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randy Rebar looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Rebar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Pablo Ramos!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Ramos both land. Nice combination.
Ramos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A right-left combo lands from Ramos.
Rebar drops his hands momentarily and Ramos takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ramos throws a nice looking combination but Rebar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rebar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ramos misses with a few strikes there.
Ramos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rebar as he jumps to the side.

Ramos jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Ramos throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rebar was covering up waiting for the punch and Ramos finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rebar is adopting a defensive guard.

Rebar wants to sweep here but Ramos controlling him for the moment.

Ramos makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rebar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ramos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ramos's back!

Pablo Ramos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Horrible takedown attempt by Ramos or perhaps it was just good defense by Rebar, which made it look bad.

Well Ramos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
