Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Three Thibbers!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibbers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kostakov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thibbers somewhat.
Kostakov half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Thibbers has his takedown stuffed
and Kostakov counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Thibbers wants to get back to full guard.
Thibbers keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Thibbers wants to improve his position but Kostakov is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kostakov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kostakov lands a nice short elbow.
Kostakov is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Kostakov scores with a big shot! Thibbers's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Thibbers! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
