Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Horton (ranked 4581 p4p, 5456 weight class) and BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hawaii '78. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arthur Horton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, BJ Penn! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Ben Watson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horton fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A decent looking body kick lands there for Horton. Horton fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Penn throws a series of punches but Horton avoids them all with ease. Horton dives in and grabs Penn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Penn pushes down on Horton's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Horton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horton misses with a kick to the body and Penn counters with a lovely straight right hand! Horton lands with a kick to the temple. Penn shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
 It looks like BJ Penn has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horton rushes Penn and presses him up against the cage. Penn is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Horton to keep the fight standing.
Horton jumps guard and drags Penn to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Horton trying to keep a closed guard but Penn is proving a slippery customer.
Penn throwing strikes but missing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Penn landing some decent shots from guard. Penn wants to control from the top but Horton keeps moving. Penn is pushing down on Horton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Horton is fighting to maintain full guard but Penn has managed to sneak the leg through. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Horton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Penn is working away from the top position though. Penn trying to control the action but Horton is working from the bottom. Penn is thwarting Horton's attempts to control the position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Penn wants to work for an arm triangle but Horton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Penn is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Horton has managed to free his arm - good work.
Penn is working for a submission of some sort.
Horton is looking for a sweep. Penn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Horton is trying to control but can't.
Penn looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Horton is trying to maintain the position but Penn is very close to passing his half guard.
Penn is working for a submission of some sort.
Penn blocks the strikes from Horton.
Horton wants to get back to full guard. Horton manages to get to full guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Horton is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Horton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Penn forces his way into half guard.
Penn is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Horton is trying to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Horton manages to get to full guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
BJ Penn dominated that round. The cut man is working on BJ Penn's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Horton closes the distance and clinches. Penn wants a takedown but no success here.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Horton. Penn is looking for a takedown. Penn wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Penn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Horton walks away with a smile on his face. Penn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Arthur Horton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BJ Penn. Penn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Horton swivels and escapes. Penn misses with a wild combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Penn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Penn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Horton has time to react. Arthur Horton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Horton tries for a takedown but Penn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Horton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Horton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Horton on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Penn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Penn throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Horton was covering up waiting for the punch and Penn finishes the takedown easily into guard. Horton trying to keep a closed guard but Penn is proving a slippery customer.
Penn keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Horton's head.
Horton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Penn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Penn sitting in guard here, content to control. Penn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Horton is on top in guard.
Penn looking for a sweep. Not yet Penn, not yet. Horton is in close to Penn's body, working some short punches and elbows. Horton tries to free his leg and advance position but Penn is retaining full guard. Horton is looking to stand up but Penn won't let him. Horton throws a big right hand that misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Horton would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Horton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Horton passes into half guard. Well, if Horton is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.
Horton is trying to control. Penn wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Penn trying to control here.
Horton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Penn keeps working. Horton is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Penn is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. BJ Penn has got the better of the ground game so far.
Penn looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Penn trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Horton manages to pass to mount!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Horton sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Horton punishing his opponent with strikes. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Arthur Horton will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on BJ Penn's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

A nice leg kick lands there from Horton. Horton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Penn avoids it really well and circles away. Penn checks a low kick from Horton. Horton throws a lazy head kick and Penn counters with a stiff right hand. Arthur Horton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Penn lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Horton shoots in and gets a takedown into Penn's guard. Horton wants to control from the top but Penn keeps moving.

Penn looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Horton's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Horton keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Penn's head. Penn controls Horton momentarily but Horton frees himself.
Penn looking for subs off his back but Horton has passed one foot through into half guard.
Horton is trying to control the action in half guard but Penn is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Penn moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Penn keeping moving, preventing Horton from controlling successfully. Horton controls from within his opponent's guard.
Penn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Horton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Horton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Horton wants to control from the top but Penn keeps moving. Horton distracts Penn with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Penn keeping moving, preventing Horton from controlling successfully. Horton wants to pass the guard but Penn is keeping the position. Horton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Horton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Penn.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Horton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Penn.
Horton closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Horton lands in his opponent's guard. Penn wants to sweep but no luck. Horton is looking to work some ground and pound but Penn has wrist control. Horton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Penn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Horton stands and steps away. Penn gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Penn lands a jab.
Horton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Horton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
And that's the end of the fight! Arthur Horton showed his dominance in that final round. I think Horton has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
