The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski misses with a series of wild punches.
Kowalski takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kowalski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nolan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nolan wants to counter with a clinch but Kowalski pushes him away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kowalski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kowalski feints a jab promting Nolan to slip. Kowalski then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nolan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
