Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gakus Amiga (ranked 23519 p4p, 23382 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rico Salvacion acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 63 - 78 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 65 - 79 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Salvacion takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Amiga avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Salvacion. Salvacion performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Amiga is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion stalling.
 That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Amiga desperately trying to maintain half guard.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Amiga tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Salvacion defends well and Amiga ends up having to push Salvacion into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Salvacion is working for takedown but Amiga is calmly controlling the position for now. Salvacion is trying to pull guard but Amiga has him pressed against the cage. Amiga wants to take the fight to the mat but Salvacion manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Amiga pulls guard successfully.
Salvacion slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Salvacion wants to stand but Amiga has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion throwing strikes but missing. Salvacion is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Amiga wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Salvacion manages to pass to side control.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Salvacion sitting and controlling from the half guard. Salvacion not landing any meaningful shots this time.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rico Salvacion dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Amiga shoots for a takedown but Salvacion saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Salvacion is trying to counter with his kicks. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salvacion. Salvacion with a poor takedown
and Amiga decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Salvacion's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Salvacion trying to keep a closed guard but Amiga is proving a slippery customer.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Salvacion trying to control the position here. Amiga stays in close to Salvacion's body and controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Salvacion controlling the position.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Salvacion moves out of range of the body kick. Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Amiga blocks it well.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga shoots in looking for a takedown but Salvacion manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Amiga's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time.
Salvacion looking to score a takedown here. Amiga is defending well but Salvacion drives through and ends up in Amiga's guard. Salvacion not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Amiga has his hands on Salvacion's head, controlling the position. Salvacion showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Gakus Amiga will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
No luck for Salvacion with that takedown attempt. Amiga feinted there with a counter leg kick. Amiga throws a push kick but Salvacion slaps the foot to one side.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga controls from within his opponent's guard. Salvacion managing to control the position. Salvacion avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Salvacion keeping moving, preventing Amiga from controlling successfully. Amiga is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Salvacion is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Salvacion trying to control the position here.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion is fighting to break Amiga's control of his arms but Amiga is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Amiga is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Amiga can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Salvacion controls the pace. Salvacion trying to control the position from guard on top but Amiga is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Amiga is trying to keep Salvacion in close.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga pulls Salvacion in to control the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gakus Amiga. I think Amiga has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
