Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Agbay Amiga (ranked 23235 p4p, 23276 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 70 - 72 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 45 - 100 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga is trying hard to land a takedown here. Salvacion sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Salvacion unleashes a big counter combination but Amiga bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Amiga goes for a double leg but Salvacion avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Salvacion continues to drive forward.
Amiga is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Agbay Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Amiga is fighting off a takedown attempt but Salvacion is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Amiga to the mat. Amiga regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salvacion's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Salvacion closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Amiga did well to prevent Salvacion getting side control.

It looks like Salvacion might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Amiga is positioning himself well to prevent Salvacion advancing to mount.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Clifford Val Salvacion dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nice takedown defense from Salvacion. No joy for Amiga on that attempt.
Salvacion was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Salvacion enables Amiga to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Salvacion manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Amiga looking to sit in guard and control but Salvacion gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Amiga has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amiga wants to sweep but no luck.

Salvacion is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Amiga is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Salvacion being controlled here momentarily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Salvacion shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Amiga manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Salvacion looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Amiga wants to control the position but Salvacion says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Salvacion seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Salvacion not landing any meaningful shots this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Clifford Val Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Amiga tries to score a power double leg takedown but Salvacion sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Amiga somewhat.

Amiga is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Amiga is trying to maintain the position but Salvacion is very close to passing his half guard.
Salvacion takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Agbay Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clifford Val Salvacion.

Amiga closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Clifford Val Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Amiga wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Salvacion uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Salvacion is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Clifford Val Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Salvacion has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
