Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikita Rianin (ranked 4838 p4p, 4137 weight class) and Cohen Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikita Rianin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cohen Rhodes!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rianin looks for the body kick but Rhodes saw that one coming.
Rianin throws a leg kick that misses.
Rhodes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nikita Rianin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rianin scoring well with a low kick there.
Rhodes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rianin, pushing him back against the cage.
Rianin is trying to force a seperation but Rhodes has the dominant position.
Rhodes ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rhodes no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Rhodes pulls Rianin in to control the position.
Rianin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rhodes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rianin has managed to get both his arms back between Rhodes's legs - danger averted.
Rhodes has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rianin wanted to stand there but Rhodes had control of the position.

Let's hope that Rhodes has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nikita Rianin will probably get the nod.

Rianin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rhodes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Rianin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rhodes.

Rianin lands a nice hook to Rhodes's body. Rhodes takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
