Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ross Clay (ranked 4379 p4p, 23232 weight class) and Higanti Libat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Clay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 62 - 83 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clay will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Libat now looks to counter with a shot at the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Clay. Libat throws a big counter head kick but Clay avoids it with no problem. Libat shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clay but Clay pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Clay clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clay manages to pull guard.
Clay looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Clay might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Libat postures up.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Clay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Libat can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Libat won't allow Clay to sweep him here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Libat wants to control from the top but Clay keeps moving. Libat stopping the sweep attempt from Clay.
Clay had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Libat defends it easily. Libat stopping the sweep attempt from Clay. Clay has control of Libat's left arm, preventing Libat from doing any damage.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Clay shoots in for a takedown but Libat shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Clay displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Libat.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Clay wants to clinch but Libat slips to the side and Libat counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Clay thinking. Clay shoots in for a takedown but Libat shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ross Clay. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Clay with that takedown attempt.
Clay feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Clay has gone for a leg lock! Libat slips out almost immediately though and dives into Clay's guard.
 The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clay is breathing heavily.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Libat trying to control the position from guard on top but Clay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Libat not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat trying to control but Clay is working from the bottom. Libat must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Libat controls from within his opponent's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ross Clay dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Clay tries to clinch but Libat moves away and Libat counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Clay scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Clay shoots in looking for a takedown. Libat tries to sprawl out of it but Clay keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Libat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Clay takes the fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat stops a takedown attempt from Clay.

Clay jumps guard and drags Libat to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Libat works over Clay with some ground and pound from guard. Libat trying to control the position from guard on top but Clay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clay can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Libat controls the pace. Clay trying to control the position here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Libat trying to control the position from guard on top but Clay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Clay misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Clay backing away here, and Libat unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Clay wants to clinch up but Libat keeps it at a distance. Ross Clay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clay shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ross Clay. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Clay with that takedown attempt. Libat steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Clay has closed the distance and engaged Libat in a clinch.
Clay can't get the takedown.
Clay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Clay looks for a takedown but Libat sprawls well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Clay throws a sloppy head kick and Libat moves out of range easily. Libat follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Clay will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Libat replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Clay blocks it well.
Libat shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Clay is trying to defend but Libat finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Libat stalling. Libat passes into side control, despite Clay's attempt to control the position.
Libat wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clay keeps working. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat working the ground and pound from side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Higanti Libat will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Clay fails with the takedown. Clay tries to clinch but Libat is having none of it. Clay shoots for a double leg takedown but Libat sprawls well. He's pushed Clay's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Clay shoots and misses and Libat makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Clay really felt that one! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ross Clay. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice sprawl there from Clay as Libat shoots in. Libat shoots in for a double leg but Clay sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Clay appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Libat drives through with a takedown into guard. Clay keeping moving, preventing Libat from controlling successfully. Libat stays in close to Clay's body and controls the position.

Clay has his foot on Libat's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Libat works his way back into a safe position though. Clay keeping moving, preventing Libat from controlling successfully. Clay has his hands on Libat's head, controlling the position. Libat wants to control from the top but Clay keeps moving. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Clay is looking for a triangle here but Libat uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Libat is looking to take a break and control but Clay is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Clay is trying to control Libat's posture but Libat avoids it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Clay is looking to regain half guard here but Libat keeps moving and retains side control. Libat throwing shots but missing, from side control.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Clay throws a leg kick which misses Libat's front leg but catches the back leg as Libat tries to avoid it. Clay throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Libat's waist but Libat gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Clay off to one side. And Libat responds with a good body kick, but Clay manages to step out the way in time. Libat fails with a takedown attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Clay moves in looking to clinch but Libat pushes him off.
And that's the end of the fight! Higanti Libat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Libat has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
