Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Henchy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Franco Di Monteggi!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henchy falls off balance throwing a combination
and Di Monteggi moves into the clinch.
Di Monteggi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Henchy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Henchy is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Henchy takes a shot to the head.
Di Monteggi is trying to drag Henchy to the mat but Henchy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Samuel Henchy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franco Di Monteggi.
Di Monteggi misses with a punch to the body.
Di Monteggi fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Henchy pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Henchy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Di Monteggi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Henchy rushes Di Monteggi and presses him up against the cage.
Henchy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Henchy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Henchy throws a combination. Di Monteggi tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Henchy lands a big uppercut and Di Monteggi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Di Monteggi looks OK. Henchy waves Di Monteggi back to his feet!
Di Monteggi is rocked!
Henchy lands with a shot to the body.
Di Monteggi is still on wobbly legs! Can Henchy finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Henchy throws a head kick that misses.
Henchy lands a big right hook! Di Monteggi looks hurt but is still standing! Henchy lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Di Monteggi falls down and Henchy dives in with a huge hammer fist! Di Monteggi's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Henchy runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Samuel Henchy!
