Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Guo Hao Ming!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Great Teradur!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Teradur closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hao Ming to the mat! Hao Ming manages to get full guard.
Hao Ming is striking from the bottom but Teradur uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Hao Ming has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Teradur. Oh but Hao Ming has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Teradur goes limp - he's gone! Hao Ming jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Guo Hao Ming!
After the fight, Guo Hao Ming was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
