Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greco throws a head kick that misses.
Marius shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Marius might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Greco feints and as Marius raises his hands in defense, Greco changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Marius is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Greco defends well.

Marius really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Greco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Greco cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marius is trying to maintain the position but Greco is very close to passing his half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Pete Greco will probably get the nod.

Greco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Marius can do anything to dispel that myth.
Greco has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Marius is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Greco yanks on the arm and Marius is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Greco.
