The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Addams drives through with a takedown into Mercado's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Mercado tries for a takedown but Addams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mercado misses with a kick to the body.
Addams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mercado to the mat! Mercado manages to get full guard.
Mercado tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mercado is trying to push Addams off with his feet but Addams grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Mercado's ankles and Mercado is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!
