Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kobayashi Maru (ranked 4219 p4p, 4299 weight class) and Finn Assmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kobayashi Maru!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Finn Assmann!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assmann fails with a takedown attempt.
Maru scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Assmann doesn't manage to clinch there - Maru circles away.
As Assmann tries to get set, Maru tries to push him back and clinch up but Assmann manages to avoid the attempt.
Maru avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maru delivers a nice body kick.
Assmann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Maru lands a glancing blow to the side of Assmann's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maru tries to land a front kick but Assmann steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Assmann misses with a looping right.
Assmann closes this distance looking for a takedown but Maru circles away.
A lazy left from Maru finds it's target.
Assmann is rocked!
Maru circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Assmann to the canvas! Assmann doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Maru keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kobayashi Maru!
Kobayashi Maru decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
