Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaiden Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox has managed to clinch.
Orton jumps guard and drags Maddox to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Maddox working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Orton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Orton trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Maddox gets to his feet - Orton follows without any prompting.

Maddox throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Orton works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Maddox clinches up with Orton and pushes him back against the cage.

Maddox ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Maddox no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Orton stops Maddox from standing up.
Maddox wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Orton manages to pass to side control.
Maddox is refusing to be controlled, as Orton sits in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Orton is keen to just control but Maddox is a slippery customer.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Orton looking to control but Maddox is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Orton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Maddox can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Maddox can do anything to dispel that myth.
Maddox's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Orton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Maddox is looking to escape.
Maddox tries to reverse the position but Orton maintains control.

Orton sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Maddox has decided that throwing punches whilst being mounted is the best he can manage just now.

Maddox is nestled in close to Orton, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Well Maddox has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
