Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Holy Moly (ranked 1517 p4p, 3090 weight class) and Tahboule Alawi (ranked 140 p4p, 265 weight class). Alawi has chosen The Ruler of Everything as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tahboule Alawi!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Moly.
Moly throws a chopping leg kick but Alawi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Alawi changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Moly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Alawi throws out a counter right but Moly avoids it with no problem.
Moly throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Alawi.
Alawi darts in looking for a takedown but Moly gets double underhooks and turns Alawi into the cage.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Alawi.

Who's going to make the next move?
Alawi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Alawi is trying to get an arm triangle but Moly is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moly is not content to let Alawi control the position.
Moly tries to buck Alawi off but Alawi is having none of it.

Alawi wants to control from the top but Moly keeps moving.
Moly tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Moly working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alawi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Alawi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Moly is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Moly is pulling down on Alawi's head. It's preventing any offense from Alawi, at least for the moment.
Alawi sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Moly doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Alawi paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Moly - great work!
