Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Mastoridis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sander Stoop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mastoridis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Take me to the hospital by Rusko. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoop shoots in for a double leg but Mastoridis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mastoridis shoots and misses
and Stoop counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Mastoridis looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Mastoridis tries to roll over but Stoop keeps him under control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Mastoridis manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Stoop stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mastoridis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stoop is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mastoridis is looking for a triangle but Stoop pushes his legs off easily.
Mastoridis wants to sweep but no luck.
Stoop tries to free his leg and advance position but Mastoridis is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stoop wants to control from the top but Mastoridis keeps moving.
Stoop is looking to work some ground and pound but Mastoridis has wrist control.
Mastoridis has his foot on Stoop's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stoop works his way back into a safe position though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mastoridis keeping moving, preventing Stoop from controlling successfully.
Stoop might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mastoridis kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Stoop wants to pass the guard but Mastoridis is keeping the position.

Stoop with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Mastoridis lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stoop!
Stoop really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mastoridis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stoop wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Mastoridis.
Stoop is looking to improve his position but Mastoridis isn't that keen on the idea.
Mastoridis is going olschool here, as he tries to force Stoop to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Stoop shrugs it off.
Stoop is trying to escape the mount.

Mastoridis unloads with some shots from mount but Stoop bucks and avoids them well.
Stoop is looking to get to half guard.
Stoop defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Mastoridis.
Mastoridis is breathing heavily.
Stoop holds on for dear life, controlling Mastoridis's posture momentarily.
Mastoridis works his way to his opponent's back.
I really don't envy Stoop right now.
Stoop looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Stoop can't escape the position.

Mastoridis tries to get the hooks in deep but Stoop pushed the leg off.
Stoop breaks Mastoridis's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stoop working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mastoridis's head.

Stoop throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Mastoridis tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Stoop wants to control from the top but Mastoridis keeps moving.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mastoridis is trying to control the position from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Mastoridis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Stoop counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mastoridis won't be happy with that.
Mastoridis wants to control but Stoop postures up.
Stoop connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mastoridis some visible discomfort.
Mastoridis is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Stoop scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mastoridis to see if he's OK.

Mastoridis is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Stoop off and has taken his back!
Stoop rolls, trying to escape but Mastoridis keeps control of the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stoop won't enjoy being in this position. Mastoridis looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Stoop is tapping - it's over boys! Mastoridis picks up the submission victory!
