Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trystan Bradford (ranked 4450 p4p, 2801 weight class) and Lance Fow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trystan Bradford! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lance Fow! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Chris Dean and Eliza Hachem.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bradford changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fow tries to avoid it but Bradford manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fow to the ground. Fow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bradford tries to clinch but Fow is having none of it. Fow looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Bradford shoots in for a takedown but Fow shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fow scores with a takedown into Bradford's guard. Bradford knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fow on the ground.
Fow thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bradford looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fow is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fow is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bradford seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Fow slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Let's hope that Fow has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Fow's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fow stopping the sweep attempt from Bradford. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Fow drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Fow seems to have locked his on tight now - Bradford screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Fow, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Lance Fow!
