Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Ayers (ranked 4034 p4p, 25126 weight class) and Wilfredo Eduardo Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Spencer Ayers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wilfredo Eduardo Moreno! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ayers lands a shoulder strike. Moreno misses with a punch to the body.
Moreno looking to slow down the pace here. Moreno has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ayers is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Moreno wants a takedown.
Moreno drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Spencer Ayers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilfredo Eduardo Moreno. Ayers is trying to break the clinch but Moreno has him pressed against the cage. Moreno fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ayers is trying to break the clinch but Moreno is controlling him.

Ayers throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Moreno tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ayers is in Moreno's guard. Moreno looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Moreno not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ayers controlling from the top position. Ayers tries to stand but Moreno is controlling from the bottom. Moreno lands a good elbow from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Ayers wants to stand and escape but instead Moreno has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Moreno trying to control but Ayers is working from the bottom. Moreno would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ayers keeping moving, preventing Moreno from controlling successfully. Ayers trying to control the position here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreno postures up in Ayers's guard and throws a big left but Ayers blocks it.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Moreno. Ayers doesn't manage to clinch there - Moreno circles away.
Ayers shoots in for a double leg but Moreno sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Moreno takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Moreno shoots in looking for a takedown but Ayers manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Moreno's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ayers stuffs the takedown attempt from Moreno. Moreno gets slowly back to his feet.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Ayers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Moreno. Moreno looks winded!
Ayers has taken the fight to the clinch.
Moreno is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ayers to keep the fight standing. Ayers wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Ayers wants to take the fight to the mat but Moreno manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Ayers shoots in and bounces Moreno off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moreno not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Ayers wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ayers fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Moreno to the ground. Ayers is now in Moreno's guard.
Moreno manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Good body shot from Ayers.

Ayers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ayers shoots for a takedown but Moreno saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. This has been an exciting period of action! Moreno shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ayers defends it nicely.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Ayers wants to stand but Moreno is controlling the position. Ayers trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moreno trying to control but Ayers is working from the bottom. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ayers is looking to stand up but Moreno isn't so interested in that idea.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ayers doesn't manage to clinch there - Moreno circles away.
Moreno steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Ayers. Ayers wants to clinch
so Moreno counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ayers wriggles free and stands up. Ayers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moreno swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ayers slaps away a takedown attempt from Moreno, before circling back to the center of the mat. Moreno is breathing heavily. Ayers tries to clinch up. Ayers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moreno swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ayers closes the distance and clinches.
Moreno breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Moreno drops his hands momentarily and Ayers takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ayers moves into the clinch. Ayers tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Moreno just stands there and leans against the cage. Ayers is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Moreno can do to turn this around?

Moreno looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ayers is fending him off so far but Moreno persists. Nope, Ayers circles away and we're back to standing. Spencer Ayers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilfredo Eduardo Moreno. Ayers was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Ayers looks to land a combination. Moreno sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ayers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moreno to the mat! Moreno manages to get full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moreno bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ayers's guard.
 Wilfredo Eduardo Moreno has got the better of the ground game so far.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Ayers working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Moreno. Ayers has his hands on Moreno's head, controlling the position.
Ayers is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Moreno defends well. Moreno won't allow Ayers to get back to his feet. Moreno trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Spencer Ayers dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Ayers lands with a nice combination. Moreno backs away looking to recover. Ayers lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Moreno backs up against the cage.
Ayers tries to bum rush Moreno with a series of wild strikes but Moreno uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ayers is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Moreno's half guard. Moreno trying to control from the bottom.
Ayers is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Moreno defends it well. Ayers stops Moreno from getting back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Ayers is keen to just control but Moreno is a slippery customer. Ayers uses his free foot to push down on Moreno's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Moreno. Moreno tries to hold on but Ayers pushes him away. Ayers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moreno on the ground. Moreno has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Ayers's lack of action.
Moreno is looking to improve his position.
Moreno is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ayers pulls his head out easily.

Ayers decides to stand up. Moreno avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ayers lands a nice shot to the body.
Moreno on the wrong end of a nice hook. Ayers moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Ayers cracks a nice hook into Moreno's ribs. Ayers tries to close the distance and clinch but Moreno swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ayers closes the distance and pushes Moreno back into the cage. Ayers throws an elbow but it misses.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Ayers has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Moreno is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Moreno gets control of Ayers's arms and successfully pulls guard. Moreno will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ayers preventing the sweep. Ayers is working Moreno over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Moreno is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ayers gets to his feet - Moreno follows without any prompting. Ayers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. A nice combination there by Ayers.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Ayers misses with a knee to the head.

Ayers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ayers has a takedown stuffed. Moreno wants to counter the offense by Ayers and move into the clinch position.
Ayers has closed the distance and engaged Moreno in a clinch.
Moreno escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Moreno tries to keep at a distance but Ayers has taken the fight into the clinch. Ayers jumps guard but Moreno turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Spencer Ayers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spencer Ayers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ayers is pressed up against the cage. Moreno has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ayers down to the mat. Ayers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wilfredo Eduardo Moreno has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jab, cross, leg kick.
