Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tapad Amiga (ranked 23536 p4p, 23390 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 49 - 94 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 65 - 81 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Amiga shoots in and drives through. Salvacion sprawls well. Amiga misses with a body kick. Salvacion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Amiga sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Amiga throws a quick counter kick to the body but Salvacion avoids it.
Salvacion drives through with a takedown into Amiga's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion preventing the sweep. Amiga trying to keep a closed guard but Salvacion is proving a slippery customer.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion stopping the sweep attempt from Amiga. Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to prevent any damage. Amiga trying to control the position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Amiga working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Salvacion.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Amiga closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Salvacion to the mat! Salvacion manages to get full guard. Amiga looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Salvacion is controlling Amiga's posture.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga wants to get up but he can't break Salvacion's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Salvacion looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salvacion is pulling down on Amiga's head. It's preventing any offense from Amiga, at least for the moment. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Amiga postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Salvacion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Amiga avoids it really well and circles away. Amiga fires out a quick counter leg kick but Salvacion just manages to avoid it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Amiga is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Salvacion's half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tapad Amiga dominated that round. That's time! Amiga's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Amiga lands a nice looking kick to the body. Salvacion takes a step back to recover. Salvacion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Amiga swivels and escapes. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Salvacion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Amiga's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga is trying to keep Salvacion in close.
Amiga seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Amiga managing to control the position. Salvacion is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Amiga keeping moving, preventing Salvacion from controlling successfully. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Amiga looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Salvacion. Amiga quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Amiga gets a double leg takedown into Salvacion's guard. Salvacion pulls Amiga in to control the position. Amiga's corner is telling him to maintain position. Salvacion is controlling Amiga's posture.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Salvacion works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Amiga looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Amiga's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tapad Amiga dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Amiga shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time. Amiga fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Salvacion tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Amiga defends well and Salvacion ends up having to push Amiga into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. And Amiga counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Salvacion counters with a nice leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tapad Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Amiga defends well and Salvacion ends up having to push Amiga into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Amiga appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Amiga bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Amiga working away. Salvacion controls the position for a moment. Amiga working away. Tapad Amiga overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion holding on. Amiga is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Salvacion will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Salvacion tries to bench press Amiga off him but Amiga keeps the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga just content to control the position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Amiga fails to land the takedown. Amiga looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Salvacion is fending him off so far but Amiga persists. Nope, Salvacion circles away and we're back to standing.
Amiga gets the takedown into side control.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion being controlled for a moment. Salvacion can't do much from the bottom here. Rico Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tapad Amiga is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga wants to control but Salvacion is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Tapad Amiga showed his dominance in that final round. Well Amiga has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
