The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madeek moves into the clinch.
Benedetti is breathing heavily.
Benedetti keeps control of Madeek as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Madeek is trying to break the clinch but Benedetti is controlling him.
Madeek jumps guard and drags Benedetti to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Madeek bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Benedetti's head backwards.
Madeek gets in close and tags Benedetti with a short punch that almost sends Benedetti to the mat! Oh Benedetti is in big trouble! He turns his back on Madeek, trying to create some distance but Madeek rushes him, striking wildly and Benedetti goes down! The referee tackles Madeek into the cage to end the fight! Madeek is one violent man!
