Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mario Benedetti (ranked 3922 p4p, 2856 weight class) and Leek Madeek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benedetti is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Mario Benedetti has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 51 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mario Benedetti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Leek Madeek! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madeek moves into the clinch. Benedetti is breathing heavily. Benedetti keeps control of Madeek as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Madeek is trying to break the clinch but Benedetti is controlling him.
Madeek jumps guard and drags Benedetti to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Madeek keeping moving, preventing Benedetti from controlling successfully.
Madeek scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Madeek moves in looking to clinch but Benedetti pushes him off.
Madeek closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Madeek has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Madeek is trying to push Benedetti away but Benedetti has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Madeek has had enough of the clinch but Benedetti keeps him there for the moment.
Benedetti breaks from the clinch.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Benedetti needs to keep his hands up - Madeek had a free shot at his head there. Madeek fails with an attempt to clinch.
Madeek lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

A cross from Madeek lands. Leek Madeek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Benedetti dodges the punch combination from Madeek.
Madeek lands with a nice combination. Benedetti backs away looking to recover. Benedetti on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Madeek. Madeek obviously looking to wear him down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Madeek misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Madeek clinches up against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Madeek.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Madeek working hard to break the clinch. Benedetti blocking some punches.
Madeek wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Madeek breaks from the clinch.
Madeek bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Benedetti's head backwards. Madeek gets in close and tags Benedetti with a short punch that almost sends Benedetti to the mat! Oh Benedetti is in big trouble! He turns his back on Madeek, trying to create some distance but Madeek rushes him, striking wildly and Benedetti goes down! The referee tackles Madeek into the cage to end the fight! Madeek is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leek Madeek!
