The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiro stuffs the takedown.
Hiro misses with a body kick.
Tanaka swats away the attempt to clinch by Hiro.
Hiro throws a front kick aimed at Tanaka's knee but Tanaka avoids it well.
Tanaka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hiro circles away.
Hiro tries to close the distance and clinch but Tanaka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tanaka shoots in for a takedown but Hiro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hoshi Tanaka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tanaka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hiro swivels and escapes.
Hiro circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Tanaka drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Hiro follows Tanaka to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
