Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry O Leary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Leary comes to the cage accompanied by one day like this. Jones has chosen lil walter as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Larry O Leary! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Jones! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Jones misses. O Leary is looking to clinch. O Leary blocks a head kick by Jones.
O Leary shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. O Leary missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. O Leary is just content to waste time from the top position. Jones takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Jones controls O Leary momentarily but O Leary frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. O Leary trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones has momentary wrist control but O Leary slips an elbow through the middle. O Leary stops Jones from standing up. O Leary postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it. O Leary wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones controls O Leary momentarily but O Leary frees himself. Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. O Leary in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jones wants to stand but O Leary is controlling the position. O Leary loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jones scores with a jab to the body. Jones tests O Leary's chin there with a solid looking shot. O Leary misses with a looping right. Jones throws a lazy right hand but O Leary sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jones throws a quick head kick that skims the top of O Leary's head.
It looks like Larry O Leary has been cut. A jab from O Leary misses. O Leary forces Jones back against the cage and clinches. The is referee keeping an eye on O Leary - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A frustrated look appears on Jones's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones tries for a takedown but O Leary manages to get underhooks.

O Leary has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. O Leary prevents the takedown attempt.
O Leary is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jones can't fight it off and eventually O Leary manages to take the fight to the floor. Jones looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. O Leary with a flurry of punches that miss. O Leary cracks Jones with a solid left hand. Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst O Leary is controlling him. O Leary throws a big right hand that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. O Leary postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones wants to stand and escape but O Leary is having none of it. O Leary throwing strikes but missing. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. O Leary scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. O Leary defending well as Jones loads up on a big left hand. A combination from Jones does no damage. O Leary checks a low kick from Jones. O Leary wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A close round but Walter Jones will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Larry O Leary's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing. No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
O Leary takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jones throws a series of punches but O Leary moves out of range. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jones tries to bum rush O Leary with a series of wild strikes but O Leary uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Walter Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones works O Leary's body with a nice hook. O Leary is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is refusing to be controlled, as O Leary sits in half guard. O Leary is thwarting Jones's attempts to control the position. O Leary passes into side control, despite Jones's attempt to control the position.
Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't. O Leary lands some shots froms side control. Jones is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked O Leary off and has taken his back! O Leary rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Jones decides to return to a standing position. O Leary avoids the head kick by Jones.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but O Leary is just out of range. O Leary swings and misses with a shot to the body and Jones counters with a one-two to the body. Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows O Leary to score an easy takedown into full guard. O Leary stays in close to Jones's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. O Leary trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. O Leary's corner is telling him to maintain position. O Leary scoring with some ground and pound. Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst O Leary is controlling him. O Leary got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, O Leary has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted. Jones is breathing heavily. O Leary landing with the ground and pound. O Leary chips away with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to stand and escape but O Leary is having none of it. O Leary working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. O Leary postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. O Leary controls from within his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as O Leary accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jones keeping full guard, as O Leary tries to pass. O Leary throwing strikes from guard but Jones blocks nicely. Jones is looking to stand up but O Leary isn't so interested in that idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones takes a swing at O Leary's ribcage but misses. O Leary avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Jones tries to work over O Leary's front leg with a kick but O Leary checks it. O Leary closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. O Leary pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. O Leary has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with O Leary's head. O Leary displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab. O Leary looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

O Leary gets to his feet - Jones follows without any prompting. Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jones connects with a high kick. Jones misses with a wild combination.
O Leary rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. O Leary just leaning against Jones, taking a breather. O Leary is trying to trip Jones. He has hold of a leg but Jones is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. O Leary persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells O Leary's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jones wants to stand but O Leary is controlling the position. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. O Leary trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. O Leary cracks Jones with a solid left hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! O Leary pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but O Leary is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. O Leary postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jones throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. O Leary dodges the punch combination from Jones.
O Leary works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jones misses with a double jab.
Jones misses with a low kick. Walter Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. O Leary is looking to clinch. O Leary slips a jab from Jones. Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but O Leary moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jones misses with a double jab.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land. O Leary tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones misses with a wild combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Larry O Leary showed his dominance in that final round. I think O Leary has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
