The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagabov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wheeler throws a leg kick but Nagabov checks it.
Good leg kick by Nagabov.
Wheeler is looking to clinch but Nagabov is avoiding it.
Nagabov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wheeler misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nagabov.
Nagabov lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Kai Wheeler has been cut.
Nagabov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nasir Nagabov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nagabov throws a nice looking combination but Wheeler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Wheeler tries to close the distance and clinch but Nagabov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nagabov lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wheeler's sensitive parts.

Wheeler stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nagabov.
Wheeler tries for a takedown but Nagabov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nagabov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wheeler has time to react.

Nagabov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nagabov wants it to stay on the feet.
Nasir Nagabov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kai Wheeler.
Wheeler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nagabov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wheeler takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wheeler has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wheeler there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wheeler walks into a straight right hand from Nagabov.
Wheeler is rocked!
Wheeler shoots in looking for a takedown. Nagabov tries to sprawl out of it but Wheeler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nagabov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nagabov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Nagabov lands the left hand.
Wheeler needs to keep his hands up - Nagabov had a free shot at his head there.
Wheeler is still on wobbly legs! Can Nagabov finish him?

Wheeler shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nagabov defends it nicely.

Wheeler seems to have recovered his senses.
Wheeler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nagabov as he avoids it easily.

Nagabov drops Wheeler with a huge uppercut! Wheeler drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Nagabov is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
