Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Khalil Amrani (ranked 2246 p4p, 23407 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Khalil Amrani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 65 - 82 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salvacion tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Amrani defends well and Salvacion ends up having to push Amrani into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Amrani lands a body shot.
Amrani lands a jab to Salvacion's midsection.
Salvacion doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Salvacion takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Salvacion takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Amrani has been working on his boxing with his coaches at WOVA Performance Institute in the buildup to the fight.
Amrani drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Amrani has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Salvacion stops Amrani from passing to mount.

Salvacion has given up his back. Will we see Amrani going for some submissions?

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Amrani's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Amrani takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Amrani seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Salvacion for as long as he can get away with.

Khalil Amrani overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Amrani lunges at Salvacion with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Salvacion's hand.
Salvacion is still on wobbly legs! Can Amrani finish him?
Salvacion get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Salvacion stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Amrani runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Khalil Amrani!
Khalil Amrani was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
