Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Saekenpai Fairtex!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 153 - 35 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairtex has a takedown stuffed.
Sss steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Fairtex shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fairtex showed some decent athleticism there.
Fairtex uses his free foot to push down on Sss's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sss sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Fairtex will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fairtex darts in looking for a takedown but Sss gets double underhooks and turns Fairtex into the cage.
Sss lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

That was a close second round but I would say that Saekenpai Fairtex will probably get the nod.

Sss got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fairtex has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sss has managed to get both his arms back between Fairtex's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sss won't allow Fairtex to sweep him here.

Sss closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sss lands in his opponent's guard.
Fairtex scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Sss Sss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Fairtex tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sss sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fairtex somewhat.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fairtex, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
