Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Williams (ranked 4176 p4p, 4277 weight class) and Kason Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ben Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kason Reed! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed connects with a looping right hand.
Reed doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.

Reed throws a half hearted mid kick. Williams is looking to counter the offense by Reed and move into the clinch. Reed wants to clinch. Williams tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Reed manages to circle out of the way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reed is looking to clinch. Reed scores with a head kick.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Reed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Reed closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Williams turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Williams manages to end up in side control.
Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Williams tries to advance to mount but can't. Williams advances to full mount. Reed really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Williams looking for a guillotine from mount but Reed is having none of it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Williams working for a guillotine from mount but Reed is in no mood to give up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reed can do anything to dispel that myth. Williams wants to take his opponent's back but Reed doesn't allow it.

Williams has hold of Reed's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Reed manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Williams pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Williams working for a submission but Reed is keeping him at bay. Williams can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Reed is looking to escape.

Williams is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Reed is forced to tap! Great finish!
