Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between BJ Henderson (ranked 4082 p4p, 26055 weight class) and Super Takyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Super Takyan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, BJ Henderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Super Takyan! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson moves into range and clinches up with Takyan.
Henderson breaks the clinch.
Henderson scores with a nice body kick.
Henderson throws a head kick but Takyan moves out of range.
Takyan gets tackled into the cage by Henderson. Henderson maintains the clinch.
Henderson jumps guard.
Henderson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Takyan defends it easily. Henderson pulls Takyan in to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takyan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Takyan trying to control the position from guard on top but Henderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Henderson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Takyan is stalling in the full guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Takyan wants to control from the top but Henderson keeps moving.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Takyan gets tackled into the cage by Henderson. Henderson maintains the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A bit of stalling here from Henderson.
Takyan tries to score a body lock takedown but Henderson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Takyan letting Henderson take a breather here. Henderson prevents the takedown attempt.

Henderson wants to take the fight to the mat but Takyan manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Henderson tries for a takedown but Takyan manages to get underhooks.

Henderson manages to break the clinch.
Henderson tries to clinch and Takyan counters with a body kick. Henderson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Henderson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Henderson closes the distance and clinches. Takyan wants a takedown.
BJ Henderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Super Takyan. Henderson pressing his opponent against the cage.
Henderson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Takyan takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Henderson stuffs the takedown. Takyan slips a jab and a cross from Henderson.
Takyan replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Henderson blocks it well. Takyan blocks a head kick by Henderson.
Takyan has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Henderson. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Henderson throws a nice head kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Henderson tries to close the distance and clinch but Takyan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Takyan counters with a body kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
BJ Henderson dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Henderson wants to clinch
and Takyan counters with a shoot takedown. Henderson fights it but they end up in guard. Takyan is standing up over Henderson. Henderson looks to escape but Takyan dives into side control.
Henderson tries to get back to half guard but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takyan trying to control the position but Henderson is working away. Henderson is trying to control Takyan's posture but Takyan avoids it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Henderson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Takyan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Henderson keeps Takyan under control for a moment. Henderson is not content to let Takyan control the position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Henderson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Henderson can't do much from the bottom here.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Henderson darts in and clinches Takyan up against the cage.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Henderson tries a body shot but Takyan blocks it.
Takyan can't get the takedown.
Henderson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Takyan looking for a takedown. Takyan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
BJ Henderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Super Takyan. Henderson content to slow the pace in the clinch.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Henderson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Takyan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Henderson manages to break the clinch.
Henderson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

BJ Henderson is winning the standup battle so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Henderson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Takyan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
BJ Henderson dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Henderson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Henderson wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Henderson's corner calls for a 1-2. Henderson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Henderson wants to clinch up but Takyan keeps it at a distance. Takyan thinks about the counter body kick. Henderson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Takyan steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Henderson misses with a head kick.
Despite the aggression on Takyan's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Henderson tries to bum rush Takyan with a series of wild strikes but Takyan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Takyan is trying to counter with his kicks. Henderson is looking to clinch. Henderson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Takyan's head.
Henderson has closed the distance and engaged Takyan in a clinch.
Henderson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Takyan can do to turn this around?
Henderson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Takyan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Henderson's head.

Takyan looking to sit in guard and control but Henderson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Henderson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Takyan is proving hard to escape from. Takyan is pulling down on Henderson's head to control his posture.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Takyan is trying to keep Henderson in close.
Takyan is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Henderson throws a strike but Takyan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Henderson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Takyan is controlling him. Takyan wants to control from the top but Henderson keeps moving.

Super Takyan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Henderson trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Takyan manages to pass to mount!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Henderson is desperately trying to improve his position but Takyan has a good base and remains in mount. BJ Henderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Takyan tries to push Henderson's head away but Henderson is holding on tight.
And that's the end of the fight! BJ Henderson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Henderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
