Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom McReary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom McReary! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Robinson! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McReary looks to land a combination. Robinson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. McReary lands a two punch combo.
Nice takedown defense from Robinson. No joy for McReary on that attempt. Robinson drives through and clinches with McReary against the cage.
McReary pulls guard successfully.
McReary pulls Robinson in to control the position. McReary striking off his back but it's not causing Robinson any problems. Robinson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on McReary, up you get! Robinson ducks right into an uppercut from McReary. McReary looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. McReary moves into the clinch successfully.
McReary wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Robinson has him pressed against the cage. McReary prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's one minute gone in the round. Robinson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McReary smiles and moves away.
McReary looks to land a combination. Robinson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. McReary does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. McReary closes the distance and lands a one-two. McReary fails to land the takedown. McReary misses with a hook. McReary gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McReary trying to mount his opponent but Robinson defends it. Robinson controlling the position well. McReary escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McReary drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Robinson working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McReary wants to stand but Robinson is controlling his posture from full guard. McReary is breathing heavily. Robinson wants to hit a switch here but McReary passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Robinson there! Robinson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Robinson tries to hold on but McReary postures up. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McReary cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. McReary is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! McReary throws a looping overhand right but Robinson ducks down to avoid it. McReary fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom McReary. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robinson tries for a takedown but McReary sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McReary shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Robinson's guard. Robinson controls McReary momentarily but McReary frees himself. Robinson pulls McReary in to control the position. Robinson lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. McReary wanted to stand there but Robinson had control of the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Robinson is on top in guard.
Robinson is fighting to break McReary's control of his arms but McReary is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Robinson wants to control from the top but McReary keeps moving. McReary looking to hit a scissor sweep but Robinson is one step ahead there. McReary pushes Robinson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. McReary shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom McReary dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
McReary looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Robinson! McReary looking to control and managing it successfully. McReary working away from the top, dropping strikes. Robinson is just holding on here. McReary manages to take his back.
McReary throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Robinson!
Tom McReary overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Robinson is trying to defend against the choke here but McReary has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. McReary Tightens the hold and Robinson taps out furiously! McReary displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tom McReary!
