The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds throws a jab when La Merveille was well out of range.
Reynolds cracks a nice hook into La Merveille's ribs.
La Merveille looks to land a combination but Reynolds avoids it well.
Reynolds lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Joan La Merveille has been cut.
Reynolds thuds his right hand into La Merveille's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
La Merveille is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Reynolds stuns La Merveille with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

La Merveille has managed to clinch.
Reynolds is trying to force a seperation but La Merveille has the dominant position.
La Merveille tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reynolds just stands there and leans against the cage.
La Merveille is working for takedown but Reynolds is calmly controlling the position for now.
La Merveille fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Reynolds wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but La Merveille has him pressed against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Reynolds's face as he tries to break the clinch.

La Merveille dives in and grabs Reynolds's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reynolds pushes down on La Merveille's head and hops out.
Reynolds tests La Merveille's chin there with a solid looking shot.

La Merveille shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reynolds defends it nicely.
La Merveille tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reynolds sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten La Merveille somewhat.
Reynolds scores with a shot to the body.
Reynolds connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt La Merveille! He's out on his feet! Reynolds rushes in and drops La Merveille with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
