The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lock tries to close the distance and clinch but Rodrigo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rodrigo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lock is looking to clinch.
Lock slips under a jab from Rodrigo.
Lock tries to clinch but Rodrigo is having none of it.
Rodrigo throws the left hand but Lock avoids the punch easily.

Lock moves in looking to clinch but Rodrigo pushes him off.
Lock shoots in looking for a takedown. Rodrigo tries to sprawl out of it but Lock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rodrigo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rodrigo misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lock shoots in but no luck this time.
Rodrigo swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Lock closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rodrigo circles away.

and Rodrigo counters with a big uppercut that knocks Lock off his feet! Rodrigo dives into side control looking to finish!
Lock is still in real trouble! Can Rodrigo finish him?

Lock seems to have recovered his senses.

Lock is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Rodrigo passes into side control, despite Lock's attempt to control the position.

Lock is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rodrigo asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lock wants to control but Rodrigo postures up.

Lock is trying to control Rodrigo's posture but Rodrigo avoids it.
Lock tries to bench press Rodrigo off him but Rodrigo keeps the position.
