Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Texas Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Younge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pete has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Texas Pete! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Younge! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pete keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Younge fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A right-left combo lands from Younge. Pete is breathing heavily. Pete throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Horrible takedown by Younge or perhaps it was just good defense by Pete which made him look bad. Younge thumps Pete with a low kick. Younge tries to clinch up. Pete takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Younge lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Younge shoots in looking for a takedown. Pete tries to sprawl out of it but Younge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pete manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Texas Pete has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Younge. Younge fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Younge throws a combination. Pete tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Pete is looking to clinch but Younge is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Younge misses with a head kick.
Younge misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Pete keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Younge pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pete takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Pete blocks a low kick nicely. Younge throws a head kick that Pete semi-blocks.
Tyler Younge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pete shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Younge pinned against the cage. Younge gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Younge throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pete. Pete blocks a head kick by Younge.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Younge is looking to clinch. Younge throws a leg kick but Pete sees it coming and checks it nicely. Younge feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Younge stopping the sweep attempt from Pete. Pete wants to stand but Younge is controlling the position. Younge wants to control from the top but Pete keeps moving. Younge drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pete manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Younge has Pete in his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pete wants to stand and escape but instead Younge has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Pete looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Younge throws a big right hand that misses. Younge sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pete's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pete wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Younge landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Younge looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Pete works his way to full guard. Good work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Younge preventing the sweep. Pete will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Younge fails with the takedown. Younge tries for a takedown but Pete sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Pete slips a jab and a cross from Younge.
Pete stuffs the takedown attempt from Younge. Younge gets slowly back to his feet. Texas Pete has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Younge. Younge throws a head kick that misses. Younge closes the distance and clinches up with Pete, looking for a takedown. Younge pushes Pete against the cage but Pete circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Pete has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pete tries for a takedown but Younge manages to get underhooks.

Younge tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pete just stands there and leans against the cage. Younge jumps guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pete throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Younge works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Pete tries to stand but Younge is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Younge striking off his back but it's not causing Pete any problems. Younge keeping moving, preventing Pete from controlling successfully. Pete gets to his feet. Younge looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Younge drives through with a takedown into guard. Pete avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pete is wriggling around but Younge manages to pass to half guard.
Younge thows a huge punch but Pete dodges it nicely.
Pete is trying to maintain the position but Younge is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Younge throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Younge seems to be working for a kimura but Pete defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pete is trying to get back to full guard. Younge has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Younge is stalling here. Pete is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Younge seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pete has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Younge taking a bit of punishment here - Pete scoring with strikes. Pete prevents Younge from escaping the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Younge fails with the takedown. Younge tries to clinch up and Pete counters with a flying knee. Nice. Pete looks to land a body kick but Younge moved away. Younge tries to clinch up and Pete counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Younge's guard now. Younge is working an open guard so Pete takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Pete fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Younge with a lazy takedown attempt and Pete counters with a takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Younge wants to control but Pete postures up. Pete trying to control the position but Younge is working away.

Pete looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Younge regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Texas Pete dominated that second round. That's time! Pete's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Pete looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Younge trying to hold on to Pete's head to control him but Pete postures up.
Younge tries to get to full guard but Pete has control of the leg. Younge actively working from the bottom here. Pete gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Younge tries to clinch up and Pete counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pete. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Younge takes a knee right on the jaw!
Younge has Pete pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Pete manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Pete wants a takedown but no success here.
Pete breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Younge throws a lazy head kick and Pete counters with a good low kick that Younge was not able to check. Younge throws a series of punches but Pete avoids them all with ease. Pete shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Pete is looking to advance position but Younge won't allow it. Younge is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Pete pulls his head out easily. Younge actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pete gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Younge with a poor takedown and Pete counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Younge's guard now. Younge is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pete is controlling him. Younge looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Younge has his foot on Pete's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pete works his way back into a safe position though. Younge had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pete is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Younge Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pete's back instead. Pete is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pete has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Younge is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Younge tries to keep control of the position but Pete is staying busy. Younge is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Pete has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Pete manages to reverse the position and now he's in Younge's guard. Nice work there by Pete.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Younge throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Texas Pete overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Younge controls Pete momentarily but Pete frees himself. Younge is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Younge looking to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Texas Pete showed his dominance in that final round. I think Pete has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
