Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Brown!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soze looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Brown wants to get back to his feet.
Soze seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Soze throwing shots but Brown is blocking nicely.
Soze has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Soze missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Soze looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Brown with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Soze is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Brown is trying to stand up here but Soze is controlling him well.

Soze working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Soze slips a nice elbow through Brown's hands, connecting with Brown's forehead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brown can do anything to dispel that myth.
Soze landing strikes.
Brown is pushing Soze's head away, looking to escape. Soze manages to hold on to the position though.
Soze is working Brown over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Soze cracks Brown with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Brown tries to bench press Soze off him but Soze keeps the position.
Soze advances to mount.
Soze is landing with some decent strikes but Brown is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Soze connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Brown is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Soze's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
