Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between heavy weight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and brick wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). heavy weight has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, heavy weight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, brick wall!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
weight turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

weight looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
weight stops wall from getting back to his feet.

weight is working for a kimura but wall is defending it quite comfortably.
weight wants to free his trapped foot but wall is holding on for dear life with his legs.

wall is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, weight asserts his dominance and retains side control.

weight jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but wall manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and weight counters with a head kick. That will keep wall thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

so wall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
weight looking to hit a scissor sweep but wall is one step ahead there.

weight thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

weight lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

and weight moves into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

brick wall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! weight's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and weight counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by weight.

weight has wall pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. weight pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending wall tumbling to the mat - weight dives into wall's guard.
weight trying to control the position from guard on top but wall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
weight loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
weight looking to sit in guard and control but wall gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

weight working for a triangle but wall defends it easily.

wall wants to stand but weight is controlling his posture from full guard.
weight bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in wall's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
wall wants to stand but weight is controlling the position.
wall being controlled here, momentarily.
weight won't allow wall to get back to his feet.
weight's corner is telling him to maintain position.
wall is looking to stand up but weight isn't so interested in that idea.

weight trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
weight wants to get up but he can't break wall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
wall misses with a takedown attempt

and weight decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in wall's guard.
heavy weight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of brick wall.
wall wants to get back to his feet but weight is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
weight really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
