The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Filipovic is breathing heavily.
Kai blocks a head kick by Filipovic.
Kai dodges the punch combination from Filipovic.
A head kick misses from Filipovic.
Kai shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kai content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Kai is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Filipovic is in trouble now - Kai has advanced to mount!
Filipovic squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kai controlling from the full mount.
Kai postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Filipovic looks a forlorn figure.
Filipovic is rocked!
It looks like Sean Filipovic has been cut.
Kai working the ground and pound effectively.
Oh Filipovic is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kai wants to finish this one by submission but Filipovic is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kai.
Kai moves to take his opponent's back.
Filipovic seems to have got his legs back now.
Kai is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Filipovic with him. Filipovic is trying to defend but Kai has an arm under the chin now! Filipovic grimaces and is forced to tap out!
