Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between heavy master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rog Roundboy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rog Roundboy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roundboy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but master swivels and escapes.
master looks to land a combination but Roundboy avoids it well.
Roundboy misses with the combination.
Roundboy lands a head kick that stumbles master and the fighters go to the mat.
It looks like heavy master has been cut.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

master trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
master thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Roundboy lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear master down.

master is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Roundboy is looking to control master's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Roundboy avoid being mounted?

master is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Roundboy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Roundboy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around master's waist but master gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roundboy off to one side.

Roundboy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
master has Roundboy up against the ropes in a clinch.
master breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

master gets in close and instigates a clinch.

master lands with a left to the head.
Roundboy jumps guard but master stands there with Roundboy around his waist. Roundboy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
master's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
master lands a head kick. Roundboy smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
master swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Roundboy tries to land a front kick but master steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Roundboy.
Roundboy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A left and a right from master both land. Nice combination.
master shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
master wants to lay and pray for a moment but Roundboy keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Roundboy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with master. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Roundboy can do anything to dispel that myth.
