Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Norris!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norris forces Robertson back against the cage and clinches.
Norris is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Robertson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Norris fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Norris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Robertson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Robertson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Norris's guard.

Norris is looking for a sweep.

Robertson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Norris is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Robertson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Norris should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Norris is desperately trying to improve his position but Robertson has a good base and remains in mount.

Norris is bucking up trying to escape but Robertson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

It looks like Chuck Norris has been cut.
Robertson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Norris looks a forlorn figure.

BOOM! Robertson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Norris is bucking up trying to escape but Robertson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Robertson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Norris's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That has opened up Chuck Norris's cut even more.
Norris tries to clinch there but Robertson circles away.
Robertson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Norris as he avoids it easily.
Robertson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Norris tries to avoid it but Robertson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Norris to the ground. Norris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Norris has closed the distance and engaged Robertson in a clinch.

Norris escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Robertson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Robertson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The cut above Chuck Norris's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Norris is trying to buck Robertson off.

Robertson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Norris, who protects the arm well.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Norris has eaten all the pies!
Norris is pushing Robertson's head away, looking to escape. Robertson manages to hold on to the position though.
Robertson is putting a hurting on Norris here, landing some big shots from side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Chuck Norris's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chuck Norris's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
