PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Smelly Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Legato Effrairo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by Animal Crackers In My Soup by Sherly Temple. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nelson blocks a head kick by Effrairo.
Nelson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Effrairo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Effrairo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Effrairo avoids a punch combination nicely.
A nice leg kick lands there from Effrairo.
Effrairo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nelson.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Effrairo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nelson - the referee stops the clock and Effrairo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nelson. Effrairo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
