Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Michael Bluth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bro Ham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George Michael Bluth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bro Ham!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bluth cracks Ham with an open hand slap.

Bluth instigates a clinch.

Ham pulls Bluth into guard.
Bluth trying to control but Ham is working from the bottom.
Ham is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ham pulls Bluth in to control the position.

Ham is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ham is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bluth could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ham is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bluth is controlling him.
Bluth trying to control but Ham is working from the bottom.
Bluth is really struggling to control Ham but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The fighters circling - Bluth throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bluth tries to clinch there but Ham circles away.
Bluth shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ham but Ham pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ham closes the distance but Bluth moves to the side
and Bluth counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ham fails with the takedown
letting Bluth counter with a right hand.
Bluth buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Ham instigates a clinch.

Ham manages to break the clinch.
Ham fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bluth manages to avoid it.
Bro Ham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bluth keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bluth tries to clinch up but Ham circles away and keeps his distance.
Ham closes the distance but Bluth moves to the side

and Bluth counters by clinching up.
Bluth is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Ham tries a knee to the head but Bluth blocks it.

Ham pulls guard successfully.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ham can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bluth trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Ham manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Bluth working a defensive guard here.
Bluth keeping moving, preventing Ham from controlling successfully.
Ham lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bluth tries to clinch up.
Ham fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ham looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bluth closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ham circles away.

Bluth scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Bluth wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ham keeps working.
Ham is trying to get back to half guard.
Bluth trying to control the position but Ham is working away.
Bluth tries to move to full mount but Ham actually manages to regain half guard.
Ham is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bluth is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bluth trying to control the pace.
Ham looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ham has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bluth is working away from the top position though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bluth trying to control the action but Ham is working from the bottom.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that George Michael Bluth will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Bluth looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Ham is staying active underneath Bluth, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ham punching from the bottom.
Ham tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Bluth has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Ham gets back to half guard.
Ham is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bluth is thwarting Ham's attempts to control the position.
Ham wants to improve his position but Bluth is controlling well.
Ham trying to hold on to Bluth's head to control him but Bluth postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bluth is looking to take a break and control but Ham is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Bluth seems content to control.
Bluth not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ham shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bluth as he avoids it easily.

Ham makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ham.
Ham trying to keep a closed guard but Bluth is proving a slippery customer.
Ham is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Ham has his feet on Bluth's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Ham shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ham was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bluth is trying desperately to improve position.
Ham landing strikes from the mount.
Bluth can't escape the position.
Bluth tries to hold on but Ham pushes him away.
Bluth is looking to get to half guard.
Ham has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bluth's face.

Bluth is in a horrible position here. Ham smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Ham trying to control but Bluth is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ham working the ground and pound effectively.
Bluth tries to reverse the position but Ham maintains control.
Ham trying to control but Bluth is having none of it.
Bluth wants to control but Ham is having none of it.
Bluth is trying to escape the mount.
Bluth sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Bro Ham will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

and Bluth counters by moving into the clinch.
Ham stalling against the cage.
Bluth is pressed up against the cage. Ham has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bluth down to the mat. Bluth avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Bluth shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Ham shoots in and bounces Bluth off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bluth wriggles free and stands up.
Bluth throws a hook but Ham avoids it easily.

Bluth tries to keep at a distance but Ham has taken the fight into the clinch.

Ham breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ham tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Bluth to counter with a crisp jab.
Bro Ham is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bluth gets caught flat footed, as Ham shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Ham decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bluth, up you get!

Ham moves into the clinch successfully.
Bluth can't get the takedown.
A knee to the head by Ham.
Bluth avoiding damage as Ham throws knees to the body.
Ham wants to get back to striking at distance but Bluth won't allow it.

Ham drags the fight down to the ground.
Ham controls Bluth momentarily but Bluth frees himself.
Ham keeping moving, preventing Bluth from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bluth forces his way into half guard.
Bluth trying to control the pace.

Bluth not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Ham avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bluth.
Bluth wants to get back to his feet.

Bluth is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ham has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bluth seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Ham trying to control here.
Ham is looking to get back to full guard here but Bluth has managed to pass to side control instead.
Bluth controlling the pace for now.

Bluth trying to control but Ham is having none of it.
Ham is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bro Ham has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bluth has hold of Ham's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ham manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ham working to try and regain half guard.

Bluth throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Ham has his hands clasped together but Bluth breaks the hold and Ham is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Bluth!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). George Michael Bluth!
