Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between luis eduardo almeida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Laan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). almeida comes into the arena with Sabor Açaí blaring out of the sound system. Laan has chosen Holiday as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Laan! almeida is out on his feet! Laan rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - almeida is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! almeida is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
