Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Draven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dan Draven has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dan Draven seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Draven stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Rogers follows into mount!
Draven is rocked!
It looks like Dan Draven has been cut.
Draven is wriggling around trying to escape.
Oh Draven is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rogers controlling from mount.
Draven is squirming around, avoiding Rogers's attempts to control the action.
Draven seems to have got his legs back now.
Rogers is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Draven tries to reverse the position but Rogers maintains control.
Rogers trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Draven can't escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rogers takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jim Rogers just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Draven misses with a double jab.
Draven looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Draven shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rogers pinned against the cage. Rogers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rogers pushes Draven up against the cage in a clinch.
Draven prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rogers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Draven fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Draven. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Draven is breathing heavily.
Rogers shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Draven counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rogers is trying to stand.
Rogers gets back to full guard.
Draven postures up in Rogers's guard and throws a big left but Rogers blocks it.

Draven is looking to stand up but Rogers won't let him.
Draven trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Draven has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Draven tries to stand but Rogers is controlling from the bottom.
Draven trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Draven misses with a two punch combination.
Draven darts in trying to clinch
and Rogers makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Nice sprawl there from Rogers as Draven shoots in.
Draven showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rogers.
Draven shoots in for a takedown but Rogers shows good takedown defense.
Rogers thows a body shot but no joy.

Draven fails with the takedown
and Rogers counters with a series of strikes. Draven will be more careful next time no doubt.
Draven is looking to clinch.
Rogers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rogers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rogers misses with a takedown attempt
and Draven counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rogers clinches with his opponent.
Draven is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rogers gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Draven doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Draven tries to score a body lock takedown but Rogers shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rogers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Draven has his takedown stuffed
and Rogers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Draven thinking.
Draven misses with a hook
and Rogers counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Draven fails to land the takedown.
Rogers misses with a wild combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Draven tries to clinch but Rogers moves away
and Rogers counters with a left right combination that sends Draven crashing to the mat - Rogers wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Draven out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Rogers!
