The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Joshua Payne has been cut.
Parts catches Payne napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Payne to the canvas!

Parts stands up from Payne's guard - Parts perhaps looking for a knockout.
Payne is still on wobbly legs! Can Parts finish him?
Payne tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Parts paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Payne seems to have recovered his senses.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Parts and Payne goes tumbling to the canvas! Parts follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parts with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Payne wants to improve his position but Parts is controlling well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Payne dives in and grabs Parts's left leg, looking for a takedown. Parts pushes down on Payne's head and hops out.
Payne tries to score with a low kick but Parts moves his leg out of the way.
Payne moves in looking to clinch but Parts pushes him off.
Parts lands a big shot that drops Payne! Can he finish him?

That has opened up Joshua Payne's cut even more.
Parts throws a big right hand that misses.
Payne being controlled here, momentarily.

Parts gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Payne looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

The cut above Joshua Payne's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Parts lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Payne is looking to close the distance but Parts sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Payne crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Payne is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
