And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Kingston!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston throws a right hand that Peters ducks under and follows up with a left that Peters also avoids with ease.

Peters shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Peters was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kingston prevents Peters from taking his back.

Peters jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kingston is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kingston and Peters has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Kingston can't do much from the bottom here.

Kingston throws Peters to one side and escapes!

Kingston forces Peters back against the cage and clinches.

Kingston escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Peters has managed to clinch.

Peters gets control of Kingston's arms and successfully pulls guard. Peters will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Peters has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kingston can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kingston content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Peters has locked up a guillotine! Peters's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Kingston is holding on here and Peters must be using up a lot of energy. Kingston has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Peters gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
