Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patron drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Patron trying to control the action but Santos is working from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Santos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Santos pushes Patron away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Patron gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Patron is putting a hurting on Santos here, landing some big shots from side control.

Santos wants to control but Patron is keeping busy.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Patron cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Patron is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Santos can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Patron wants to control the pace but Santos is squirming around nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Santos explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

That was a close second round but I would say that Michael Patron will probably get the nod.
