Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brown sprawls well. Brown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Howard gets slowly back to his feet.
Brown closes the distance and clinches up with Howard, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes Howard against the cage but Howard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Howard!
A clash of legs there as Howard blocks the low kick.

Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Howard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Howard drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Howard leaves Brown with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Howard shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brown as he avoids it easily.

Leroy Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

You can see the frustration on Howard's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
