Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thomas Parsons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Silver!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Silver fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Parsons, pushing him back against the cage.

Silver breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Silver rushes Parsons and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Parsons tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silver smiles and moves away.
Silver tries to clinch but Parsons moves out of range.
Silver wants to clinch up but Parsons keeps it at a distance.
Parsons circles away from the clinch attempt.

Silver fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Parsons, pushing him back against the cage.
Parsons could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Silver digs a right hand into Parsons's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Parsons's gas tank.
Parsons is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A left hand lands to the body for Silver.
Silver works on Parsons's body with a couple of short punches.
A right handed body shot lands from Silver.

Silver breaks the clinch.
Parsons doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

A big head kick from Silver and Parsons is sent sprawling to the canvas!


Parsons is rocked!


It looks like Thomas Parsons has been cut.
Silver must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Silver wanted to stand there but Parsons had control of the position.
Oh Parsons is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Parsons escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silver gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Parsons seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silver wants to stand but Parsons has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Parsons looking for a sweep. Not yet Parsons, not yet.
Silver wanted to stand there but Parsons had control of the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Silver avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Parsons wants to sweep but no luck.
Silver being controlled here momentarily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silver throws a nice inside leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silver drops Parsons with a beautiful combination! Parsons stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silver is looking for the KO!


Parsons is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silver has closed the distance and engaged Parsons in a clinch.

Silver manages to break the clinch.
Silver tries to clinch but Parsons is having none of it.

Silver has Parsons up against the cage in a clinch.

Silver breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Silver darts in and clinches Parsons up against the cage.

Silver pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Silver rushes Parsons and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Silver's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Silver has closed the distance and engaged Parsons in a clinch.
Parsons tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silver smiles and moves away.
Silver connects with a good right hand that stumbles Parsons. Parsons circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


Thomas Parsons's cut is getting worse.
Silver fails in his attempt to clinch.
John Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silver looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Parsons throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Silver, right into the meat.

Silver knocks Parsons to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Silver has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Silver feints a jab and as Parsons dips his head, Silver unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Parsons right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Parsons falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Silver smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). John Silver!
